M.S. 52 has a dynamic motivated staff who use modern, as well as proven teaching strategies. The staff participates in curriculum and instructional decisions, working closely with the principal, the planning team, the planning team chairperson, and staff developers to offer students a strong academic program. The school features four academies which are organized thematically and integrated into the curriculum to suit individual learning styles. The students enjoy a positive, supportive and personal atmosphere which encourages their academic, social, emotional and physical growth. Our student activities program includes in-school and extracurricular offerings such as tutorials; music, art, literacy and computer opportunities; and after-school academic and recreational activities.
